Going Green Video

Like the video said I could turn off unused appliances, ride my bike places instead of having my parents drive, and install energy efficient light bulbs which I already have installed.  I think that it was a good video even though high school students made it and it was very good quality.  I think that I could do something like this with the knowledge that Mr. Brester has taught us throughout all of his classes and if I had a little time to make it and get all the videos to make it.

Conservation

We conserve energy by turning off lights and electronics when they are not in use.  We also use different light bulbs that last longer and are dim when you turn them on at first but then get brighter in time.  Also we don't turn on the heat or the air until we really need it and try and hold off turning them on for as long as we can.  Some of the benefits are that we save money by saving energy so that we can use that extra money for things that need it more.

Mulberry Street

One day i was sitting in my house when a sniper shot through my window; i had to get out of there so I took a AH-6J Little Bird to Verona, Italy.  Then I was going to capture base B in my M1114 HMMWV when a T-90 suddenly came around the corner; but luckily I put some C4 on the front of my Humvee so I quickly jumped out and blew up the tank.  I captured B then that same sniper started to shoot at me again and I couldn't do anything because I didn't have a sniper.  I jumped into a F/A-18E Super Hornet and flew to Ghana, Africa.  I went there to see if the sniper would follow and if I could pick up his trail but no luck in Ghana.  I then traveled to Baghdad, Iraq in my M1 Abrams tank.   I then ran into a group of Iraqi soldiers and had to battle my way through them if I ever wanted to see day again.  Luckily some U.S. troops showed up and eliminated the remaining soldiers (I took out most of them).   I then traveled to Tokyo, Japan in my M1-28 Havoc helicopter.  While I was there (the sniper still on my trail) I went to a couple restaurants because I have to eat sometime and I was really hungry.  I did not like the food so I left to my last destination where I would hopefully defeat the enemy sniper.  I had traveled to Zverevo, Russia in my BTR-90 and this time I had come prepared with a sniper, the M98B to be exact.  I had finally caught onto the trail of the sniper and lead him up in the mountains.  I was on an opposite mountain and I had made him think I was going to be on the ground in the city but not this time.  I had waited for about 5 hours until I found him; I had to sight in my scope and adjust to the wind and the same with gravity.  It took about 5-10 minutes calculating the trajectory of the bullet and where it was going to go so that I could get a "one-shot kill".  I scoped in and like any good sniper would do I shot the bullet in between my heartbeats.  The next thing you know I see that I had hit him, "Tengo Down" I said to myself.

Conference reflection

So far i have a couple pieces of work to show and to tell about my strengths and weaknesses in school.  One of my questions are i don't really know why were doing this because I think a lot of people in the academy would rather just have regular conferences. I need to accomplish a little more to get everything ready for Thursday but I probably wont have a very good conference because I don't really know what i'm going to say.
